The Roger Smith Lab Gallery
The Roger Smith Lab Gallery is a project-based exhibition space at 501 Lexington Avenue and 48th Street.
At the invitation of Daniel Rothbart, 12 performers presented a collaboration with the artwork displayed in the gallery.
A project conceived by Daniel Rothbart, the exhibition took place on April 24, 2005 on the occasion of a lunar eclipse.
Among invitees, Valery Oisteanu performed two memorial poems for Philip Lamantia and Robert Creeley. The video of Valery’s performance was viewed on YouTube 768,000 times.
